Core App Functionality:

  • OCR processing (photos processed locally)
  • Reminder services using location and time
  • Account sync across your devices (reminders, saved locations, and notifications)
  • Cross-device notification scheduling for signed-in users

Service Improvement:

  • Analytics to improve app features
  • Bug fixes and technical improvements
  • Customer support responses

4. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage (Guest Users):

  • Photos processed locally and deleted immediately
  • Reminders and saved locations stored in encrypted local storage
  • App preferences stored locally
  • No data sent to cloud servers
  • Data isolated to your device only

Cloud Storage (Account Users):

  • Reminders and saved parking locations synced to Firebase cloud
  • Automatic cross-device synchronization when signed in
  • Data isolated per user account with strict access controls
  • Encrypted data in transit and at rest
  • Industry-standard security measures
  • Limited access for authorized support only

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your data to third parties.

Limited sharing only for:

  • Trusted service providers (hosting, analytics)

8. Deleting Your Account and Data

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. All deletion requests are processed immediately.

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

  • Your Firebase authentication account
  • All cloud-synced reminders from Firestore
  • All saved parking locations from Firestore
  • Profile information and preferences
  • Any other associated cloud data

To delete your account, choose one of these methods:

  • In-App Deletion (Recommended): Open the app → Profile tab → Account Settings → Tap "Delete Account" button
  • Web Portal: Visit our Account Deletion Page for detailed instructions
  • Email Request: Contact us at beatthesweep@proton.me with subject "Account Deletion Request"
